Terms of Service

Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using the Aurla app or website (“Service”) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Aurla.
The Service
Aurla provides personalised AI-generated audio news briefings. We aggregate publicly available news and use artificial intelligence to produce a short daily audio brief based on the topics you select. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content in your brief.
Accounts
You must sign in with a supported authentication provider (Google or Apple) to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Subscriptions and billing
Aurla offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are:
- Base Monthly — $2.99 / month
- Base Annual — $24.99 / year (~$2.08 / month)
- Pro Monthly — $5.99 / month
- Pro Annual — $49.99 / year (~$4.17 / month)
All prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscription management (including cancellation) is available in your device’s App Store Settings → Subscriptions.
- Cancellation. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled according to the standard refund policy of the app store through which you purchased.
- Price changes. We may change subscription prices with reasonable notice. Continuing your subscription after a price change constitutes acceptance.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app.
- Automate access to the Service or scrape content from it.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
- Attempt to circumvent subscription paywalls or access controls.
Intellectual property
The Aurla name, logo, and application are owned by us. AI-generated brief content is produced for your personal use only and may not be redistributed or published without our consent. Third-party news sources retain their own intellectual property rights.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that brief content will be accurate or complete. News content is synthesised by AI and may contain errors or omissions. Always consult primary sources for important decisions.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aurla shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes
We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice in the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
